At BECON Distance Learning, we hold teaching and learning as our top priority. I am pleased to oversee a department that offers high-quality instruction to Broward County’s students. BECON Distance Learning offers innovative teaching through videoconferencing technology and via the Internet with Broward Virtual School. Our mission is to offer 21st Century learning experiences that will prepare students for success in all educational endeavors.
My vision for BECON Distance Learning is to be the medium for students to realize their maximum learning potential and for educators to realize their maximum teaching potential. I pledge to offer enriching learning experiences that inspire students to explore endless possibilities and become productive global citizens. Through the innovative instruction that our Distance Learning and Broward Virtual School teachers provide to students, I know we will realize this vision together.
