WKPX 88.5 FM celebrating 40 years as South Florida’s Radio Alternative, is a non-commercial educational radio station licensed to the School Board of Broward County, FL. WKPX is operated by students and faculty and broadcasts from the Broward Education Communications Network (BECON) studios in Davie, FL. In addition to broadcasting at 3000 watts, WKPX can also be listened to here online at becon.tv/wkpxfm

The evening hours on WKPX (6:00pm to 10pm) are dedicated to Mako Radio, and music programs hosted by Nova Southeastern University (NSU) media students.
